Our Burnt Almond Cream Cookie is inspired by the cake that put Pittsburgh on the world "foodie" map. We created a delicious almond flavored delicate but chewy cookie dough that we top with our very special vanilla cream frosting that is then covered with sweetened toasted almonds to make for the perfect sweet crunch. If you are a fan of the classic Pittsburgh cake, we think this cookie will not disappoint. And if you have never tried the classic local dessert, then try you must!
